An eclectic, tight, clean sounding band. The ensemble sound is very contemporary, and the charts are diverse. The Jones Factor is great!” - Jeff Holmes, Professor Jazz studies, UMass Amherst
The John Fumasoli / Jones Factor unit is a tight one. Love the arrangement of the YellowJackets "Man in the Moon". Overall, the Trombone shines and the arrangements are first-class. A nice organic offering from John and the gang.” - Bob Baldwin

You and THE JONES FACTOR are simply tops beyond known vocubularial devision, and I hope y'all had even half the fabulous time you gifted everyone else. Edwin Taylor, after concert at The First Congregational Church, Ridgefield, Ct.” - Edwin Taylor
JOHN FUMASOLI AND THE JONES FACTOR blow roof off of RAC! Once again John Fumasoli and the Jones Factor blew the roof off the Rye Arts Center! On April 29, a 10 piece "bog band" featuring some of N.Y.'s finest musicians playing swing to modern jazz, performed to a capacity crowd at the Rye Arts Center. Back for a third time this little "big band" concert, with it's dueling saxophones and intricate soloing, was a stellar success. A broad range of ages were in attendance-children as young as 3 months were seen "rockin in the cradle", while those who were around in the "Golden Age of Jazz", were "rockin in their chair." The band played original and standard jazz selections from jazz greats including: Gillespie, Shorter, Corea, Mendes and Brecker. ” - staff
